that the cameras field of vision is free of obstructions (bumpers, hitches, etc.).The camera should
be positioned as close to the center of the vehicle as possible.
2. Secure the camera to the vehicle. The back-up camera is designed to be mounted to the license
plate frame using mounting hardware (NOT INCLUDED).
3. Locate the vehicles reverse light wire. This can easily be found at the reverse light bulb or at the
trailer harness if your car is equipped with one. Test this wire with a multi-meter. It should have 0
volts when the car is in all gears and 12 volts in reverse.
4. Solder together the cameras power wire to the vehicles reverse wire.
5. Run the cameras signal wire to the monitor. Test by putting the vehicle in reverse and watching
for a video signal.
Operating Instructions
WARNING
Do not rely solely on the camera for obstructions while in reverse. Check your surroundings for
safety before driving in reverse.
The device may be powered by a 9 ~ 12 volt automotive battery or vehicle electrical system.
Make sure all cables are connected properly to observe polarity. Improper cable connections
may damage the monitor.
After connecting wires, the back-up camera will work directly when reversing.
