Warranty
Ultra-Tow products are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal service and
use for two years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty shall not cover any damage resulting from: 1)
Abuse, improper installation, repair or modification. 2) Overloading. 3) Damage resulting from the vehicle being
involved in an accident or a natural disaster. 4) Failure to perform proper maintenance. This warranty is limited to
replacement of defective parts, if any, and does not cover consequential damage to property or persons.

Adding Grease
 Using a hand-powered grease gun, attach to the
piston grease zerk. Do not use a powered grease gun.
 Add grease until the piston enters the green area of
the fill indicator.
 Apply a slight pressure to the piston to remove any
air trapped inside the hub. If the piston moves in, add
additional grease until the piston enters the green
area.
Overfilling Grease
 This bearing protector will prevent rear seal damage
if overfilled. If the bearing protector is overfilled,
grease will appear around the edge of the piston or
through the fill indicator.

Removal
 Using a mallet or hammer and a wood block. Strike the bearing
protector on one side, and then strike the opposite side.
 Repeat the steps to “walk” the bearing protector off the hub.

Installation
 Inspect hub bearings and seals for
damage prior to installing this bearing
protector.
 Install new bearing protector using a
mallet or hammer. Use a piece of
wood to prevent damage to the bearing
protector when striking.
