Intended Use This Ultra-Tow XTP Locking Lunette Ring features a single-piece, cast ductile iron with steel lock assembly that is designed for an off the shelf padlock. No adapter is needed. Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for use with your lunette ring. Accessories that may be suitable for one product may create a risk of injury when used with another tool. Never use an accessory that has a lower operating speed or operating pressure than the tool itself. Keep safety chains in place and in working order. Never operate the product without the safety chains attached to vehicle.
Operating Instructions ⚠WARNING It is the user's responsibility to be sure the lunette ring is capable of 4,800 lbs. vertical load and 25,000 lbs. gross trailer weight. Lock Assembly Function Assembly in Locked Position The illustration shown above is in the locked position. Install the padlock in the upper hole (padlock not shown). Insure the lock assembly is in the unlock position before hook-up, as in the illustration below.
Assembly in Unlocked Position The last illustration on the previous page is in the unlocked position. Install the padlock in the lower hole (padlock not shown).
