Connecting to Ball Coupler
Hitching Up
Make sure all bystanders are in sight before backing the vehicle up to hook up.
1. Before operating, inspect the unit for proper operation, worn, damaged, or missing parts. Secure
the mounting. Correct as required before use.
2. Back the vehicle up until the hitch ball is located under the ball hitch, and then lower it into place.
3. To lock, insert safety pin into the ball coupler.
4. Slide the safety chain onto the chain hooks after the safety chain is hooked to the vehicle.
Un-Hitching
1. Remove the safety pin from the ball coupler.
2. Unhook the safety chain.
3. Unlock the ball coupler.
4. Jack up the trailer hitch until it clears the ball.
Maintenance
For proper performance, the following should be performed every 10,000 miles or 6 months,
whichever comes first.
Maintain the product by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance in accordance
with the following recommended procedures. It is recommended that the general condition of any tool
be examined before it is used. Keep your tool in good repair. Keep all cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to
