Connecting to Ball Coupler
Make sure all bystanders are in sight before backing up the vehicle to hook-up.
Hitching Up
1. Before operating, inspect for proper operation, worn, damaged, or missing parts, and secure the
mounting. Correct as required before use
2. Back up the vehicle until the hitch ball is right under the ball hitch, then lower into place.
3. To lock, insert the safety pin into the ball coupler.
4. Slide the safety chain onto chain hooks after the safety chain is hooked to the vehicle.
Un-Hitching
1. Remove the safety pin from the ball coupler.
2. Unhook the safety chain.
3. Unlock the ball coupler.
4. Jack up the trailer hitch until it clears the ball.
Maintenance
For proper performance, the following should be performed every 10,000 miles or 6 months,
whichever comes first.
Maintain the product by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance in accordance
with the following recommended procedures. It is recommended that the general condition of any tool
be examined before it is used. Keep your tool in good repair. Keep all cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to
control. Keep handles dry, clean, and free from oil and grease. Also refer to the engine manufacturer’s
instruction manual for additional information about engine maintenance. The following chart is based
on a normal operation schedule.
