2. Inspect, in particular, the coupling area. Replace when the wear exceeds 1/8" from the original
surface profile.
3. Inspect for worn, damaged, and missing parts. Replace as required.

It is the user’s responsibility to be sure the receiver is capable of a 6,000 lbs. vertical load and a
30,000 lbs. gross trailer weight.
Adjustable Slide Mount Bracket
1. The Clevis Bracket, *Combo Hitch, or **Pintle Hook can be mounted directly onto the vehicle or
mounted on our slide mount.
2. To adjust the mounted piece, loosen the nuts and slide the mounted piece up or down to the
desired height and re-torque to 80 ft./lbs. minimum per SAE J429.
3. The receiver piece is longer to eliminate damage to the vehicle if it incurs high vertical loads.

Maintenance
For proper performance, the following should be performed every 10,000 miles or 6 months,
whichever comes first.
Maintain the product by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance in accordance
with the following recommended procedures. It is recommended that the general condition of any tool
be examined before it is used. Keep your tool in good repair. Keep all cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to
control. Keep handles dry, clean, and free from oil and grease. The following chart is based on a
normal operation schedule.
