Auto Lock Function

Unlocked Position
The illustration shown is in the unlocked position.
When the Primary Lock does not show green, the coupler is open.
Hitching Up
1. Before operating, inspect for proper operation and worn, damaged, or missing parts.
2. Unlock by removing the safety pin and insuring that the Primary Lock does not show green,
indicating the coupler is open.
3. Back the vehicle up to the trailer until the 2” ball is located under trailer hitch (as shown above).
4. As you lower the trailer hitch onto the ball, the Primary Lock and
the Secondary Lock will shift into the locked position, as shown.
Green = LOCKED

with the Safety Clip installed. Insure lock assembly is in the
unlock position before hook-up.
