Towing

 Trailers and equipment designed for on-road towing within the stated capacities.
Installation Instructions
⚠WARNING
 Use a secure mounting structure of sufficient strength to support the rated capacity of the coupler
in accordance with SAE J684.
Weld Locations
Weld the coupler to the front of the trailer tongue. Care must be taken to get good penetration without
undercutting the coupler or the tongue. See the illustration below for weld locations.
Before Each Use
⚠WARNING
 Inspect for proper operation.
 Inspect, in particular, the coupling area. Replace when the wear exceeds 1/8" (.125") from the
original surface profile.
 Inspect for worn, damaged, and missing parts. Replace as required.
