Hitching Up
1. Before operating, inspect for proper operation, worn, damaged or missing parts.
2. Unlock by removing safety pin and insure Primary Lock shows no green indicating the coupler is
open.
3. Back the vehicle up to the trailer until 2
5/16"
of the ball is located under the coupler (shown above).
4. As you lower the coupler onto the ball the Primary Lock, the
Secondary Lock will end up in the locked position, as shown.
Green means LOCKED
To lock insert safety pin
Locked Position
The illustration shown to the right is in the locked position,
with the Safety Clip installed. Be sure the lock assembly is in the
unlock position before hook-up.
Un-Hitching
1. Unlock the coupler by removing the Safety Clip. Top Hole Secondary Lock
2. Flip the Secondary Lock forward until it’s pointing up,
and hold while raising the jack.
3. If both hands are needed, the Secondary Lock can be
held by inserting the Safety Clip in the Top Hole while
raising the jack.
4. Jack up trailer hitch until it clears the hitch ball, and pull out the Safety Clip. The coupler is back to
the unlock position as shown in the first illustration.er
