Harvard offers a complete line (20 to 200ml; for 2.5 & 8ml see below) of Stainless
Steel Syringes intended for high pressure applications with good resistance to
most aggressive liquids. Wetted parts are #316 stainless steel or Viton. Syringes
are available in 20, 50, 100, and 200 ml sizes with removable replacement tips.
Syringe to tube fittings are available in 1/16, 1/8, and 1/4 inch sizes. A luer lock
end fitting is also available. All tips are interchangeable with all syringes (20 to
200ml) in the series.
Both Syringe barrel and plungers are #316 stainless steel. A Viton O-ring seal
insures against leakage. Syringes are guaranteed to be leak free for pressures up
to 700 psi.
All syringes are supplied with inside diameter dimensions for use with Harvard
microprocessor controlled pumps and rate charts for use with older ‘classic’
pumps. Replacement Viton O-rings are available, as are more chemically resistant
perfluoroelastomer.

Both syringes and the fittings are constructed of #316 stainless steel. The 8 ml
syringe uses a pair of perfluoroelastomer o-rings with Teflon back-up rings.
When used with Harvard PHD 4400 high pressure pump, working pressures of
1500 psi can be achieved (great for chromatography and process control
applications). The 2.5 ml syringe utilizes a Bal Seal with PEEK back-up ring.
When used with a 4400 pump, working pressures of 7000 psi can be achieved.
