USING AN EZ PRO QUICK START METHOD
Quick Start Methods are designed to help you quickly and conveniently use the PHD ULTRA
for simple
infusion or withdrawal applications. Each Quick Start Method requires a minimal number of user entries to
operate.
Basic Operation
The following flow diagram describes the use of a Quick Start Method:

All the required parameter options are accessed from the Quick Start screen. The following sections
provide a detailed overview of operation for a Quick Start Method.
STEP-BY-STEP OPERATION EXAMPLE: QUICK START INFUSE/WITHDRAW METHOD
The following procedure describes operation using the Quick Start Infuse/Withdraw Method.

1. From the Quick Start screen, the Infuse/Withdraw Quick Start Method should be displayed in the
Method Select button. If that Method is not displayed, select the correct Method using the procedure
outlined in Running The Pump.
Select Method Type
Enter Flow Rate Parameters
(Infuse Only, Withdraw Only, or
Infuse and Withdraw)
Select Syringe Model
OR
Create New Syringe Type
Enter Target Volume or Time
