Setting the RS-232 Baud Rate
For attaching the PHD Ultra to an external device using RS-232 serial communications, you can easily
adjust the baud rate to optimize communications.
TO ADJUST THE RS-232 COMMUNICATIONS BAUD RATE:
1. From the Quick Start or Method Main screen, choose the Settings button.
2. From the Settings menu, choose the RS-232 Baud Rate button to enter the Set Baud Rate screen.
3. Select the desired preset level value (9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200).

4. When you have selected the desired baud rate, choose Accept to save your changes and return to the
Settings menu.
