Operating the seat cushion
♦ Plug the 12 V vehicle connector

into the cigarette lighter. The Power LED
5
illuminates.
♦ Turn the on/off switch
3
into position “I” to switch the seat cushion on.
♦ Turn the on/off switch
3
into position “0” to switch the seat cushion off .
♦ After using the seat cushion, disconnect the 12 V vehicle connector

from
the cigarette lighter.
NOTE
►
The seat cushion also consumes power in standby mode and therefore
must be disconnected from the on-board power supply after use! Other-
wise, depending on the vehicle type, the battery will be discharged if the
motor is switched off .
Replacing the fuse
There is a fuse in the 12 V vehicle connector
4
for protecting the vehicle's on-
board power supply. If the product no longer works, check the fuse and replace
if necessary.
♦ Open the 12 V vehicle connector
4
by gently turning the fl uted screw
insert

anticlockwise (using pliers if necessary) and remove it.
♦ Now remove the connector tip

from the fuse

and remove the fuse

♦ Now place a new fuse of type F5AL 250 V into the 12 V vehicle connec-
tor

,place the plug tip

onto the slightly protruding end of the fuse and
screw the previously removed screw insert

back in.
NOTE
►
If the product still does not function, or the fuse blows again immediately,
there is a defect. Please then contact the Service Hotline (see chapter
Service).
