3.6 Install Ultimaker Cura

After successfully setting up your printer, install Ultimaker Cura – Ultimaker’s free print preparation software on

your computer. You can download Ultimaker Cura at ultimaker.com/software.

For more information about Ultimaker Cura and system requirements, please consult the Ultimaker Cura user

manual at support.ultimaker.com.

After downloading, run the installer to complete the installation of Ultimaker Cura. When opening Ultimaker Cura

for the rst time, you will be asked to select your 3D printer. Select the Ultimaker 2+ Connect prole, and you are

ready to go. You can now directly connect to the printer and start using Ultimaker Cura.

For best printing results, always use the latest version of Ultimaker Cura.

Ultimaker Digital Factory

The Ultimaker 2+ Connect benets from integration with Ultimaker Digital Factory. To make the most out of your

Ultimaker printer, you must rst associate the printer with your Ultimaker Account.

Congure the Ultimaker 2+ Connect

Start Ultimaker Cura and follow the onboarding procedure. Select the Ultimaker 2+ Connect from the list of printers

connected to your network. If the printer is not connected, select it from the list of non-networked printers.

To add the Ultimaker 2+ Connect to an existing Ultimaker Cura set-up, select the Printers tab and choose Add printer.
