5.8.1 Shutdown Menu
The HDE-3000 runs under the Windows XP Embedded operating system and as such, it
is highly advisable to shut the unit down in an orderly fashion by using this menu. This will
ensure that all files and data are saved properly.
5.8.2 Software Upgrade Menu
The HDE-3000 allows you to perform firmware upgrades via the floppy drive or USB
flash drive located on the front panel. The upgrade procedure runs automatically, you only
have to insert the disk or USB flash drive containing the upgraded software and press
ENTER while at this menu.
