We recommend the following number of access holes depending on duct
size;
• 18”orless–Twoaccessholes6”apart
• 18”~30”–Fiveaccessholes
• 30”~36”–Sixaccessholes
• Greaterthan36”–Sevenaccessholes
ACCESS HOLE SPACING
Use the Log-Tchebycheff Rule for rectangular ducts to determine spacing
for access holes.
