top scale.
Power Supply Reads the Power Supply Volt age, + 26.5 VDC, on the m iddle
scale.

Enable ( DS4 Green) I ndicat es t hat an Enable, Operat e Com m and, is applied t o t he
UHF Am plifier Tray from the selected UHF Excit er Tray.
Overdrive ( DS2 Red) Indicat es t hat the level of the drive is too high. The protection
circuit will lim it t he drive to the set t hreshold. The Fault is
generated on the Am plifier Control Board.
VSWR Cut back ( DS1 Red) I ndicat es t hat Reflected Power Level of the Tray has increased
above 50% which will aut om at ically cut back t he Output Power
Level to 20 % . The Fault is generated on the Am plifier Cont rol
Board.
Overtem p (DS3 Red) I ndicat es t hat t he t em perat ure of (A5- A6- A3 & A5- A6- A4) one
or bot h of t wo Therm al Swit ches m ount ed on the heatsink
assem bly for the output am plifiers is above 175 degrees F.
When this Fault occurs t he Enable t o the Swit ching Power
Supply in t he effect ed Am plifier Tray is rem oved im m ediately
and it will shut down.
I nput Fault ( DS5 Red) I ndicat es that t he I nput RF Level t o t he Am plifier Trays
dropped below t he 0 dBm Range.
