Met er ( A4 - A1 8 ) Reads power in t erm s of a percent age of the calibrat ed Output
Power level on the upper scale. The Voltage Level is read on
one of t he bott om two scales. A full scale reading on the top
scale is 100% , which is equivalent t o the full rat ed 2000 Wat ts
Peak of Sync Visual. Also reads % Aural Power, % Excit er
Power, % Reflect ed Power and ALC reading.
Switch ( S3) , Met er Select s t he desired ALC Volt age reading, % Exciter Power, %
Reflected Power, % Visual Power or % Aural Power.
ALC Reads the ALC Voltage Level, .8 VDC, on the 0-10 scale.

Transm it t er ( S1) The m om ent ary swit ch (S1) applies a ground t o K1, a lat ching
Operat e/ St andby Operat e/ St andby relay, locat ed on the Transm it t er Cont rol
Board. K1 will swit ch eit her t o Operat e or t o St andby
depending on which direct ion S1 is pushed. When swit ched t o
Operat e, t he low, Enable Com m ands, are applied to the four
UHF Am plifier Trays. These Enables will turn on the UHF
Am plifier Trays. The opposite occurs when swit ched to
St andby.
Mode Select ( S2) The m om ent ary swit ch (S2) applies a ground t o K2, a lat ching
Auto/ Manual relay, locat ed on the Transm it t er Cont rol Board. K2 will swit ch
the Transm itt er t o Aut om at ic or Manual depending on which
direct ion S2 is pushed. I n Autom at ic, the Video Fault Com m and
from t he ALC Board will cont rol the Operat ion of the
Transm it t er. The Transm it t er will swit ch to St andby, after a
slight delay, if t he input video is lost and will swit ch back t o
Operat e, quickly, when t he Video is rest ored. I n Manual, the
