Modular Usage
The XR5 is a high-performance,
802.11a-based, 5 GHz radio module. It
is only capable of the 5725-5850MHz
frequency range per the FCC/IC grant
conditions. For EU, the frequency
range is 5500-5700MHz. Power and
frequency limits are hardcoded into the
radio card EEPROM.
Installer Compliance
Responsibility
Ubiquiti Networks does not allow
operation outside of the approved
5500-5850 MHz frequencyrange.
Important Modular Approval
Information
This device is intended only for the
OEM integrator under the following
conditions:
• The antenna must be properly
installed such that at least 20cm is
maintained between the antenna
and users for mobile usage
conditions (for example, access
points, routers, wireless ADSL
modems, and similar equipment).
A class II permissive change will
be required to add portable usage
condition, and
