Select the conﬁguration

ﬁle to upload.

All settings from the conﬁguration ﬁle are written to

the device except Node Identiﬁers, which are speciﬁed

here.

QUICK SETUP

Both “Load Conﬁguration from File” and “Quick Setup” load conﬁguration settings

from a conﬁguration ﬁle. The difference between the functions is that “Quick Setup”

loads all the conﬁguration settings from a ﬁle (except Node Identiﬁers), whereas “Load

Conﬁguration from File” loads user-selected conﬁguration categories. Quick Setup

facilitates the conﬁguration of a large number of nodes when the nodes share

identical conﬁguration settings. Note speciﬁcally that the only conﬁguration categories

that must be speciﬁed when using Quick Setup are Node Identiﬁers, which include IP

Address, Node Name, and SSPG SA ID.

1. Click “Node Conﬁguration” > “Conﬁg Management.” Scroll down to the

“Quick Setup” menu.

2. Click the “Base Conﬁguration File” ﬁeld or the “Browse...” button and select

the conﬁguration ﬁle to load to the device. Note that the conﬁguration ﬁle

should be from a device with the same ﬁrmware version and hardware setup

(e.g. numbers and types of radios) as the device to which it is being uploaded.

3. Insert the IP Address, Node Name, SSPG SA ID, and SSPG SA Name to be set

to the device.

4. Click the “Quick Setup” button. All settings from the conﬁguration ﬁle will be

applied to the device except IP Address, Node Name, SSPG SA ID, and SSPG

SA Name, which will populate from the values speciﬁed.
