This Quick Start Guide is designed to guide you through installation and also includes the warranty terms. Hardware Overview PoE In PoE Out PoE In Gigabit 802.3af PoE port. Connect this port to an auto-sensing 802.3af PoE Switch. The switch will automatically activate PoE. PoE Out Gigabit 24V passive PoE port. Connect this port to a 24V passive PoE device.
Installation 1. Connect the Ethernet cable from an 802.3af PoE switch to the PoE In port.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable to the PoE Out port. 3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the PoE device.
