Chapter 2: Installation
The airCam Dome is designed to be mounted in a ceiling.
Perform the following steps to install the airCam Dome.
Installation
1. (Optional) Insert a microSD card into the slot on the
side of the camera until it locks into the slot.
To remove the microSD card, push the card in to release
the lock. Pull the card out.
Note: Before removing the microSD card, follow
the steps under “Removing the microSD Card”
on page 11.
2. Cut a 73 mm diameter hole through the ceiling tile. You
may use the “Cutting Template” on page 12 of this
Quick Start Guide.
3. Insert the bezel into the ceiling tile and thread on the
nut.

4. Insert the airCam Dome Base into the Bezel.
5. Align the indicator on the camera with the arrow on
the bezel.

Note: The airCam Dome is designed to be
inserted and removed when the indicator on the
camera is aligned with the arrow on the Bezel.
6. Gently push the camera into the Bezel and turn with
one motion as shown below. Rotate the camera to the
desired position.
