INSTALLATION METHOD
TAB INSTALLATION SYSTEM
Residential and commercial applications
TAB INSTALLATION SYSTEM is a glue free method which allows the installation of carpet planks without using adhesive, creating a durable “oating” oor.
The major advantages of this system include:
- Quicker installation and decreased down time (no need to wait for the glue to dry, easier oor preparation and no mess)
- Ease of removal when changing or replacing your carpet planks
- Flexible installation and superior performance in all areas and environments
- Can be installed below, on or above grade
TAB INSTALLATION SYSTEM works as easy as peel and stick!
Floor & Sub oor preparation: Before installing the carpet planks, your oor must be clean, smooth,leveled and be within the required temperature of 50
o
F
to 90
o
F (10
o
C to 32
o
C). The carpet planks can only be installed over a hard surface (such as plywood, concrete, hard wood or tile). No under padding should
be used between your carpet plank and the hard surface.
EASY TO INSTALL (3 STEPS)
ESTABLISH THE CORNER STARTING POINT You must choose a corner which has a 90° angle, then select your installation method. The planks
can be positioned: Classic or Herringbone.
POSITION THE PLANKS From your corner start point, lay the rst plank along the wall. For a Classic installation, lay the second plank after the rst
plank. For a Herringbone installation, lay the second plank perpendicular on the opposite wall. You may need to shift or cut your rst row from your base
wall to ensure proper tting and avoid any short plank strips against each wall.
TAB PLACEMENT Each carton contains two dierent tabs, the T-TAB and the I-TAB. Abut/connect the T-TAB and I-TAB together to create a TAB to be used
in the installation of your carpet planks. After planks are positioned, start from one side of the wall and place the TAB (sticky side up) underneath the plank
as in the diagram. For tiles next to a wall, you may vertically cut the TAB in half.

ADHESIVE - PRESSURE SENSITIVE/ RELEASEABLE (OPTIONAL)
Residential or Commercial installation, if product applies — Use a universal acrylic base adhesive formulated for vinyl back carpet tiles and follow
installation instructions provided by adhesive manufacturer.

SYSTÈME D’INSTALLATION TAB
Utilisations résidentielles et commerciales
Le SYSTÈME D’INSTALLATION TAB ne requiert aucune colle, favorisant l’installation des planches de tapis sans adhésif et l’obtention d’un plancher « ottant
» durable. Les principaux avantages de ce système sont :
- Rapidité d’installation et réduction des délais (nul besoin d’attendre que la colle sèche; facilité de préparation du sous-plancher, sans dégâts)
- Facilité lors du remplacement des planches de tapis
- Souplesse d’installation et rendement supérieur, peu importe les endroits et le milieu
- Possibilité d’installation en-dessous, au niveau et au-dessus du sol
Le SYSTÈME D’INSTALLATION TAB est simple, car il sut de peler et de coller !
Préparation du plancher et sous-plancher : Avant d’installer les planches de tapis, votre plancher doit être propre, lisse et de niveau, et sa température doit
se situer entre 10 à 32
o
C (50 à 90
o
F). Les planches de tapis ne peuvent être posés que sur des surfaces dures (comme le contreplaqué, béton, bois franc ou
tuile). Aucun sous-tapis ne devrait être installé entre les planches de tapis et la surface dure.
INSTALLATION FACILE (3 ÉTAPES)
ÉTABLISSEZ LE COIN DE DÉPART Assurez-vous d’utiliser un coin ayant un angle de 90° et puis choisissez la méthode d’installation que vous
désirez. Les planches peuvent être disposés : Classique ou Chevron.
DISPOSITION DES PLANCHES Du coin choisi, en commençant d’un côté du mur, posez votre première planche dans le sens de la longueur
du mur. Par la suite, pour une installation Classique, posez votre deuxième planche à la suite de votre première. Pour une installation en Chevron,
posez votre deuxième planche sur le mur opposé perpendiculairement à votre première planche. Il se peut que vous deviez déplacer ou couper votre
première rangée par rapport au mur de base an d’éviter de trop petites bandes de planches le long du mur opposé.
DISPOSITION DES TABS Chaque carré de pellicule adhésive comporte deux sections – T-TAB et I-TAB. Assembler les deux sections an d’obtenir
un TAB que vous utiliserez pour l’installation de vos planches de tapis. Après le positionnement des planches, en commençant d’un côté du mur, posez
le TAB (côté collant vers le haut) sous les planches, voir le diagramme. Pour les planches adjacentes au mur, coupez le TAB en deux.

ADHÉSIF - AVEC ADHÉRENCE PERMANENTE OU TEMPORAIRE (OPTIONNEL)
Pour les installations résidentielles ou commerciales, si le produit s’applique — Utilisez un adhésif acrylique universel compatible avec les planches de tapis
à endos de vinyle, puis suivez les instructions d’installation fournies par le fabricant d’adhésif.

SISTEMA DE INSTALACIÓN CON CINTA TAB
Uso residencial y comercial
El SISTEMA DE INSTALACIÓN CON CINTA TAB es un método sin pegamento, el cual permite una instalación de tableros sin el uso de pegamento, creando así
un piso “otante” duradero. Las principales ventajas de este sistema son:
- Una instalación más rápida y con menos pérdida de tiempo (no es necesario esperar a que el pegamento seque; la preparación del piso es más fácil y sin
accidentes)
- Una desinstalación fácil al cambiar o reemplazar las tableros
- Una instalación exible y un mayor rendimiento en todas las áreas y ambientes
- Puede instalarse sobre o debajo de las escaleras
El SISTEMA DE INSTALACIÓN DE LA CINTA TAB funciona tan fácil como quitar y pegar!
Preparación del suelo y subsuelo: Antes de instalar las tableros, el piso debe estar limpio, liso, nivelado y tener una temperatura entre 50
o
F y 90
o
F (10
o
C a 32
o
C).
Las tableros se pueden instalar solamente sobre supercies duras (como la madera contrachapada, el concreto, la madera dura o la cerámica). No se necesita
usar un bajo alfombra entre las tableros y la supercie dura.
FÁCIL DE INSTALAR (3 PASOS)
ESTABLECER EL ESQUINA DE LA HABITACIÓN Aségurese de utilizar una esquina que tenga un ángulo de 90° y después escoja el método de
instalción que usted desee. Los modulos pueden estar dispuestos en forma de Espiga o Clásica.
POSICIONAR LAS TABLEROS Desde la esquina seleccionada y comenzando de un lado del muro, coloque el primer módulo en el sentido del
largo del muro. Luego, para una instalción clásica coloque el segundo módulo enseguida del primero. Para una instalación en espiga coloque el
segundo módulo en el muro opuesto perpendicularmente al primer módulo. Es posible que tenga que desplazar o cortar la primera la con repecto al
muro de base para evitar desfaces a lo largo del muro opuesto.
INSTALACIÓN DE LA CINTA TAB Cada cuadro de cinta TAB tiene dos secciones: T-TAB y I-TAB. Junte las dos secciones de manera a obtener un
TAB que usará para colocar las tableros. Después de haber colocado las tableros, empiece por un lado de la pared y coloque el TAB (lado pegajoso hacia
arriba) debajo de las tableros, consulte el diagrama. Para las tableros que van al lado de la pared, corte el TAB a la mitad.

ADHESIVO – SENSIBLE A LA PRESIÓN/EXTRAÍBLE (OPCIONAL)
Uso residencial y comercial si el producto se aplica — Use un adhesivo con base acrílica hecho para tableros con respaldo de vinyl y sig a las instrucciones
de instalación provistas por el fabricante.
