INSTALLING UM185US
 • It is normal to hear a short beep sound each time you
insert or remove the UM185US. It is an audible notification
that your laptop or desktop computer recognizes the new
hardware.
n When removing the UM185US, always grip the top and
bottom of the modem and push/pull carefully.
