Step 1: Unwrap roll, overlap upper layer 6”–12” over lower layer (ship-lapped fashion).
Step 2: Roll should be plumb and extend over sill plate interface at least 2”.
Step 3: Secure DuPont
Tyvek
®
with DuPont approved fasteners.
Step 4: Unroll over windows and doors.
Step 5: Tape seams

is slippery and should not be used in any application where it will be walked on. Use of ladder
stabilizers or scaffolding for exterior work above the first floor is recommended. If ladders must be used, extra caution must be taken to use
them safely by following the ANSI Standards A14.1, A14.2 and A14.5 for ladders made of wood, aluminum and fiberglass.
