Preparing the Lancing Device and Obtaining a Blood Sample
1. Hold the depth adjustable cap in one hand and hold hub in the other hand, twist o the depth adjustable cap (Fig.29).
2. Insert a new disposable lancet rmly into the lancet holder (Fig.30).
3. Twist o and set aside the protective cover of the disposable lancet (Fig.31).
4. Replace the depth adjustable cap (Fig.31).
5. Select a depth of penetration by rotating the top portion of the depth adjustable cap until the number matched to
the window (Fig.32).
