3.4 Replacing Motherboard Components
Follow these instructions to replace motherboard compo-
nents, including the motherboard.
3.4.1 Disconnecting All Motherboard Cables
Before replacing the motherboard or certain components,
remove cables connected to the motherboard. Follow these
instructions to remove all motherboard cabling.
1. Disconnect power cables and the DVD-ROM drive/power
cables.
2. Disconnect all cables from FAN, SATA, chassis intrusion
and front panel (USB and control board) connectors.
