3.4.2 Mouse Mode
This configuration is contingent on the OS that is installed on the Local Host and the destination
machine you will manage. Most current Microsoft OS’s (2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008) and Mac OS X
use Absolute Mode. Relative mode is used by most Linux distributions (SuSE, RHEL) and older
operating systems like Windows 95/98.
3.4.3 Network
You can view and modify the network settings from this section. You can also select whether to
obtain an IP address either automatically or manually configure one.
