Configuring and using the TORPEDO PI-101 - Wall of Sound Edition
14 Wall of Sound section
In this section you will be able to add the channels you need to achieve the sound you have in mind, using as
many cabinets and microphones as you need (up to 100 on 50 channels)). A channel is a combination of a
power amp, a cabinet and a microphone. On every WoS section line, you will find two independent or linked
channels, that can be panned the way you want.
ON: Switch ON or OFF the designed channel
Display screen: Display the channel number (from 00 to 99), the cabinet and microphone names.
Quick bypass buttons: Switch on or off the designed section( Power Amp, Miking...).
Solo: Put the selected channel in SOLO mode.
Mute: Mute the selected channel.
PAN: Determine where in the stereo field will be placed the channel.
VOL: Determine the output volume of the selected channel.
LINK: Link a line of channels to achieve tuning on both channels simultaneously. Useful when you work with
stereo signals.
DEL: Delete a pair of channels.
ADD: Add a pair of channels.
To activate a channel for editing, simply click anywhere on the channel zone (the red zone shown on the
figure for the channel 00). You can navigate through the channels by pressing the arrows of your computer
keyboard.
Note: the WoS section is not available on the PI-FREE Edition.

To add new cabinet files to your TORPEDO PI-101 - Wall of Sound Edition software, simply place the files in the
root of the default Impulses folder located in:
"Program Files/Two Notes Audio Engineering/Impulses" on default Windows installation.
"/Library/Application Support/Two Notes Audio Engineering/Impulses" on default MAC installation.
Please note that the files must reside in the root of this folder, without any subfolders. The TORPEDO PI-101
- Wall of Sound Edition will automatically scan the directory every time you click on the cab list into the plugin
GUI.
.tsr files:
Two Notes Audio Engineering uses a unique technology to create accurate sound signatures of miked
cabinets. Two Notes is proud to offer new cabinets to its customers, that are announced on the Two Notes
website.
To add those cabinets to your list, simply move the downloaded .tsr file to the root of the default Impulses
directory. The cabinet list in the plugin will be automatically refreshed. The .tsr files are automatically
referred as bass or guitar cabinets in the plugin. The .tsr files shouldn’t be placed in an other folder.
Note : adding new Two Notes cabinet . tsr files is not available on the Modern, Bass, Vintage and FREE
versions of the PI-101
