 With the servo and control surface
both in centered/neutral positions,
there should be a little extra control
rod length.
 You will want to shorten the control
rod to a position that is just shy of
where the threaded part starts
 Clip to length with a pair of cutter
and dress up the end where it got
crushed from the cutters
 Deflect the control surface away from
it’s neutral position so that the end of
the rod can be slid into the brass
fitting
 Retrun the control surface to neutral,
if needed shorten up the rod a little
more
 With everything neutral, CA together
 Repeat for the other side
