5.03 Coolant Replacement Procedure
Replace coolant as follows:
1. Disconnect the system from main input power.
2. Removethetworightsidepanels.
3. Locate the coupling in the coolant line that comes from the bottom of the coolant tank, #1 in the following
illustration.Disconnectthecoolantlineatthisttinganddrainthecoolantintoadisposablecontainerof
sufcientsize.Rememberyouwillbedrainingmorethanthecontentsofthecoolantreservoir.
4. Oncecoolantisdraining,disconnectthegrayhosecoupling#2intheillustrationbelow.Allowexcesscoolant
to drain, then apply a maximum of 5psi to clear the lines.
CAUTION
Applying more than 5 psi air pressure to the cooling system will result in damage. Extra caution must be used
when performing this task.

5. Reconnectthosetwottingsandthenremovethelterbowlfromthecanisterattherearofthepowersup-
ply.Pourthisremainingcoolantintothecontainerandreplacethelterbowl.
NOTE
If you also need to replace the coolant still in the leads, disconnect the leads from the power supply and manually
drain them.
6. Fillthetankwithfreshcoolantuntiltherightlevelisreachedcheckingforleaks.
7. Turnsystemon,letitrunforafewminutesandcheckcoolantlevel,rellasneeded.RefertoSection3:22

8. Install the side panels.
