4. Nitrogen(N2)Plasma

•Recommendedfor1/2inch(12mm)andthickernonferrousmaterials.H17isnotnormallyusedforthin-
nernonferrousmaterialsbecauselessexpensivegasescanachievesimilarcutquality.
•AlternativetoH35Plasma.Yieldsslightlyhighercutspeedsandsimilarcutquality.
•WhenusingH17,thegasshouldbesuppliedtothegassupplyportmarked“H35”.
•Poorcutqualityonferrousmaterials.

• Normallyusedwithnitrogen.
• Providesverysmoothcutsurface.
• Reducessmokeandheatinputtotheworkpiece.
• EffectivewhenusedwithN2upto2inch(50mm)maximummaterialthickness.
• Tapwaterprovideslowoperatingexpense.
