1. Preparing before use.
Ensure gateway and mobile phone working in a
same WiFi router which must be 2.4G.
2. APP Downland “TuyaSmart” APP
Scan below QR code or search “TuyaSmart” by App
store to download it , then register and log in.
3. How to connect internet.
① Power on the gateway, press reset key for more 5
seconds, Indicator light of wifi connection from keep
on red to flash slowly means to enter bluetooth
connection model.
② Turn on bluetooth of mobile phone.
③ Click “+” which is on top of right corner of App
homepage → Gateway control → Multimode
Gateway (BLE+zigbee) → Confirm the indicator is
blinking slowly → Next → Searching Bluetooth
device nearby → Confirm to add device.
④ If failure by Bluetooth connection, Please switch
to AP Mode to try.
Turn off bluetooth of mobile phone → Click “+” which
is on top of right corner of App homepage→Gateway
control → Multimode Gateway (BLE+zigbee) → Click
“Bluetooth” which is on top of right corner to switch to
“AP Mode ” → Confirm the indicator is blinking slowly
→ Next → Input WiFi password → Go to connect →
Select “Smartlife-XXXX” → Return App to continue
connection
4. Pairing sensors
Click enter Gateway homepage by APP → Add
devices → Add new devices → Long press “RESET”
key of sensor by a pin for more than 5 seconds until
the indicator light flashes quickly → Discovering
nearby devices → Confirm
