Preparation/Assembly 1. Shut off the water supplies before installation. Remove the current faucet, clean and dry the sink surface the new faucet will be installed on. 2. Installation Instructions 5. Slip 1/2” coupling nuts onto water supply tubes or use flexible stainless steel supply lines (recommended) — both are sold separately. To <& avoid breaking the copper tube on the faucet, use two wrenches (as shown) to keep from twisting the supply tube from the faucet when you tighten the nut. Installation Instructions Install washer (#26) and wearing ring (#27) to the stopper housing (#23 or then hand tighten the lock nut but do not over tighten. Trouble-Shooting It you've followed the instructions carefully and your faucet still does not work properly, take these corrective steps. Problem Cause Action Leaks underneath handle. Lock nut (#5) has come loose. Tighten the lock nut Remove handle (#3) and cartridge (#6) to check if ceramic disk is damaged permanently or dirty. Re-Install the cartridge (#6) or Water will not shut off completely.
