TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Peculiar odor Unit is new
If unit is in use, the odor may
be a dirty tank or old water in
the water reservoir
Remove the tank cap and let
the tank air out in a cool, dry
place for 12 hours
Empty the old tank and
reservoir water, clean the tank
and water reservoir, and fill
the tank with clean water
Excessive noise Unit is not level
Low water level
Place unit on a flat, even surface
Check the water level; refill the
tank if the water is low
White dust accumulation Hard water used
Demineralization Cartridge
needs to be replaced
Use distilled water and a
