Game Presets
The following diagram illustrates the audio processing sections in the game channel:
The parameters in each processing section are represented in the Game, Notch Filter, and
Compressor tabs. All changes made in these three tabs are saved in the Game Preset and affect only
the Game audio.
REMEMBER: Any edits made in these tabs are not saved unless you either save your preset to
headset or hard drive.
TIP: On some sliders, such as the Equalizer, you can double click to center them midway between the
top and bottom position.
Game Tab
Gain
This slider adjusts the volume level of the audio entering on the game path.
Lowering this will allow you to create headroom for effects that apply gain to
the audio. Remember if you go above 0dB you could clip (It is impossible to
go above 0db in the Gain)!
Silencer
The Silencer noise gate eliminates background noise from the game input.
When the game level is below the threshold setting, the noise gate blocks
the game sound from passing, creating total silence. This helps eliminate
the background noise from the game input signal, thereby improving the
signal-to-noise ratio of the game audio path. This is broken into three
