l Prompt Text- The phrase that will display in the prompt object.
Presentation
This section enables the user to view and change various presentation preferences.
l Automatically Display Connection Information - When checked, the receiver channel number and/or
ResponseWare Session ID will automatically be displayed throughout the presentation.
l Collapse Showbar - When checked, the showbar is displayed in a shortened form.
l Include PowerPoint Presentation - When checked, a copy of the PowerPoint presentation is automatically saved
inside each session. For more information on how to extract a PowerPoint presentation, see Extracting Session
Information on page 108.
Anywhere
Anywhere Preferences only apply to the Anywhere Polling environment and are grouped into three sections:
l Charts on page 61
l Competitions on page 61
l Presentation on page 62
Charts
This section enables the user to view and change the chart preferences.
l Chart Colors - Determines the colors that are displayed in each chart. Click a color to open the color palette and select
a new color.
l Chart Labels - Determines if answer text or bullets will be displayed in the chart labels and legends.
l Chart Values - Determines whether a response count (number of participants) or a percentage is displayed. There are
three formats for displaying the percentage: 0%, 0.0% and 0.00%.
l Default Chart Type - Determines the default chart that is used for the presentation. To change the chart type, simply
select another option from the drop-down menu.
l Response Divisor - Determines whether the divisor used to calculate the percentages on a multiple response question
will be:
l the total number of responses received (responses)
l the total number of participants in the session’s participant list
l the total number of devices that responded
l Show Results - When checked, a chart is displayed when polling is closed.
Competitions
This section enables the user to view and change the preferences for competition.
l Fastest Responders - The Fastest Responders preferences determine what type of information is displayed and how
many participants are displayed.
