I don't know if any other of the Turnigy ESC's are effected but if you are trying to program any of

the AE-45A/50A/65A/80A range of ESC's using this SKU: TG-Prog programming card you need

to ignore the front label and instructions that come with it as they are completely wrong and will

only confuse and frustrate you.

Connect as per instructions

Then select Item and change value as required for the ESC's LISTED ABOVE

Programmable Items

Item 1.Brake Setting: Value 1 is Off

Value 2 is Soft

Value 3 is Hard

Value 4 Very Hard,

Default is Off

Item 2.Battery Typc: Value 1 is **Lithium (Lipo or Li-ion) /

Value 2 is NiMH,

Default is Lithium

Item 3.Low Voltage Protection Mode (CutOff Mode)

Value 1 is Soft Cut (Gradually reduce the output power).

Value 2 is Hard Cut (Immediately stop the output power)

Default is Soft Cut.

Item 4.Low Voltage Protection Threshold (Cutoff Threshold):

Value 1 is Low 2.85V

Value 2 is Middle 3.15V

Value 3 is High 3.30V

Value 4 is Custom,

Default is "Middle".

Item 5.Start Mode: *Normat / Soft / Very-Soft, default is "Normal".

Value 1 is"Normal" is preferred for fixed-wing aircraft.

Value 2 is "Soft" or

Value 3 "Very-Soft" are preferred for helicopters.

Item 6.Timing:0°/ 3.75° / 7.5° / 11.250/ *15°/ 18.750/ 22.50/ 26.25°,

Value 1 is 0°

Value 2 is 3.75°

Value 3 is 7.5°

Value 4 is 11.250

Value 5 is 15°

Value 6 is 18.750

Value 7 is 22.50

Value 8 is 26.25°

Default is 15°.

Usually, low timing value is suitable for most motors. But there are many differences among structures and parameters of different motors so please try and select the most suitable timing value according to the motor you are just using. The correct timing valuemakes the motor run smoothly. And generally, higher timing value brings out higher output power and higher speed. Note3:After changing the timing setting, please test your RC model on ground prior to flight! Item 7.

For high voltage ESC (supports 5-12 cells Lipo), the default value is !°AutoF3A!±;Please note that !°Auto-F3A!± option is only suitable for big motors of large scale airplanes such as F3A, please don't use this option for big motors of helicopters.) When you accelerate the motor immediately, if the motor suddenly stop running and emit scream sound,please try to set this item to other value. Item 12.
