The speaker shall be of the passive subwoofer type consisting of two 12" (316 mm) LF drivers. Performance specications of a typical production
unit shall meet or exceed the following: frequency response, measured with swept sine wave input, shall be at within ±3 dB from 38 Hz to 200 Hz
and within -10 dB from 32 Hz to 200 Hz. Nominal dispersion shall be “half space.” Nominal impedance shall be 4 Ohms. Power handling shall be
800 Watts continuous, 3,200 Watts peak. Sensitivity, measured on axis, mean averaged over stated bandwidth, shall be 100 dB, 1 Watt @ 1 metre.
Maximum SPL (peak), measured at 1 metre with music program at stated amplier input, shall be 135 dB. Dimensions: 420 mm high x 1000 mm
wide x 470 mm deep (16.5" x 39.4" x 18.5"). Net weight: 45.2 kg (99.6 lbs). The loudspeaker system shall be the TURBOSOUND TCS212B. No other
loudspeaker shall be acceptable unless submitted data from an independent test laboratory veries that the above combined performance / size
specications are equaled or exceeded.
