Free up disk space

search for something (in Windows Explorer or Outlook, for example) instead of searching
the entire hard disk, you search only the index. This makes the process much quicker.
Depending on the number of files on your disk, this index can be quite large and may need
lots of memory. If you don't use Windows Deskop Search, then by disabling the feature you
can not only free up disk space, but also increase your computer's performance.
Note: If you do this, Windows will revert to using the conventional search method, which
takes significantly longer.
