MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Tsunami Filters and Filtration Packages
**SYSTEM PRESSURE MUST BE RELEASED PRIOR TO
PERFORMING MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES**
Float Drain Replacement
Oil Coalescing / Activated Carbon Element Replacement
Stainless Steel Element Replacement
First, unscrew tube from Tsunami
filter head and then remove baffle
nut from threaded rod. Slide the old
element off and reinstall with new
element.
Make sure you have a proper seal
between the element adaptor and
the baffle plate before tightening
baffle nut.
Screw Tsunami outer tube onto filter
head.
Remove outer tube and loosen the
nut holding the bottom baffle.
Replace o-rings on tube and bottom
cap, slide old element away from the
Tsunami head and replace with new
element kit.
Install baffle and tighten nut until
snug
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NUT
Replacing the float drain is a very
s
imple process and takes only minutes.
First, remove the bottom cap from the
Tsunami filter and then grasp the
bottom stem of the float drain and
unscrew from bottom cap.
Now, install the new float drain into
bottom cap and reinstall bottom cap
onto filter.
Element adapter is not used
in 50 Series filters
