STUD REMOVAL
Place Pak Tool #1 firmly into threaded end of cylinder ram. Slide roll-pin from
Pak Tool #4 into pinhole located at the open end of the Cylinder Frame. (Fig A)
With adapters in place hold frame unit over hub and center adapters over stud to
be removed. With Foot Pedal on Pump apply hydraulic pressure until both
adapters make contact against the stud STOP!
Center and align PAK-PRESS unit with adapters prior to applying pressure
from the hydraulic pump. Now push stud out of Hub into Pak Tool #4.
BROKEN STUD REMOVAL
Make sure the stud has a flat surface to push against. If necessary grind the
broken end of the stud until it is flat. Follow instructions for STUD REMOVAL but
replace Pak Tool #1 with Pak Tool #2. (FIG B)
