Teaching a Vehicle to Recognise a Key
If a new immobiliser unit is fitted in a vehicle or a new 20TN-1 is required because a
key has failed or has been lost, the immobiliser must be taught to recognise the
vehicle key(s). This can be performed only at the Lucas manufacturing plant, the Saab
assembly plant or an approved Saab service centre.
Note: The 20TN-1 will work with a Lucas 16AS, 23AS or 32AS receiver. Neither
receiver has user controls.
