1, Lookingat thetransmissionfromthe rightside of the
tractor,locatethe compressionspringand brakedisc,

2, Loosen,but do NOTremove,the hex nutfoundon the
rightsideof the brakeassembly,SeeFigure11,
3, Usinga feebr gauge,setthe gapbetweenthe brake
discandthe brakepuckat ,011",
4, Reqightenthe hexnut loosenedearlier,

_ ARNING: Before operating this
machine, makesure the seat is engaged
in the seat stop, stand behind the
machine and pull back on seat until fully
engagedinto stop.

To adiustthe positionof theseaton modelsequipped
witha seatadiustmentlever,movethe bv'erto the left
andslide the seatforwardor rearward.SeeFigure
3 on page10.Makesureseatis lockedintoposition
beforeoperatingthe tractor.
Steering Adjustment
if the tractorturnstighterinonedirectionthan theother,
or if the balliointsarebeingreplaceddueto damageor
wear,the steeringdraglinksmayneedto beadiusted,
Adiustthedraglinksso thatequalbngthsare threaded
into the balliointon the leftandright side:
1, Loosentheiam nut foundonthe draglinkat the rear
of the ballioint,SeeFigure12,
2, Removehex nuton the topof ballioint,SeeFigure12,
3, Threadthe ballioint towardtheiam nutto shortenthe
draglink,Threadthe ballioint awayfromtheiam nut
to bngthenthe draglink,
4, Replacehex nutandretightentheiam nut afterproper
adiustmentis achieved,
NOTE:Threadingthe balliointstoo far ontothe draglinks
will causethe fronttiresto "toe4n"toofar,Propertoeqn is
between1/16"and5/16",
