IRIS actions
When there has been an event the IRIS module can take actions. These actions
can interact with other units and systems and create new events that start new
actions.
Send message
The IRIS modules can relay received messages and create new messages and
send them to other units and systems.
A message can contain both pre-defi ned text strings and different parameters.
The parameters available are for example facts about the unit, such as alias and
identifi cation number, status on signal strength, inputs, outputs, fl ags, timers and
counters and the received text.
Change outputs and fl ags
An IRIS module can both change it’s own outputs and fl ags and send commands
to other units to change it’s outputs and fl ags.
Change timers and counters
It’s possible to change the limits, to start, to stop and to reset the timers. The
counters can be increased, decreased, reset and the limit can be changed.
