TO MEET ADA REQUIREMENTS:
If difference in elevation is less than 10-11/16" [272 mm] - Business Hours or
7-7/16" [189 mm] - Level 1 (vault), see Diagram A (page 23) .
If difference in elevation is more than 10-11/16" [272 mm] - Business Hours
or 7-7/16" [189 mm] - Level 1 (vault), see Diagram B (page 24).
(CRITICAL)
The Difference in Elevation is the most critical dimension to consider when installing the FT7000. Use
whatever method you feel comfortable with to determine this dimension. To meet ADA outside height
requirements, refer to the chart below and figures on the following pages. The size of the opening will
not change, but its vertical position will to meet these requirements.
