The availability of some Vendor DiAgnoStic functions will depend
on such factors as types of optional hardware installed, user pass-
word options, etc. In cases where a function is not applicable or
available, the option will be “grayed out” or otherwise disabled.
After login, the Vendor “
DiAgnoSticS menU” (Main Menu) will appear on
the display.
DeScriPtion:
The following options will be available from the DiAgnoStic menU screen:
1. The cASh DiSPenSer option displays a menu for dispenser status report-
ing, purge and test functions, locking and unlocking cassettes, and inject-
ing new cassette ID’s.
2. The keyPAD option displays a menu for the keypad device status and test
function, clearing tampers, and resetting the device.
3. The key mAnAgement option is used to enter a Pin Master Key, provid-
ing for secure, encrypted data transfers between the ATM and the trans-
action processor.
4. The PASSworD mAintenAnce option is used to add/delete users and
modify terminal access privileges.
Once you have entered the Vendor
DiAgnoStic menU, you may perform any
of the functions allowed by the type of password used (access level).
Each Vendor
DiAgnoStic menU option description will include the function
name, instructions for accessing the function, a description of the function,
and any associated factory default values.
The Vendor
DiAgnoStic menU screen allows the service provider/terminal
operator to access the following Management functions:
