3. Move the pusher plate against the notes with just enough pressure to hold
the notes in the correct position when closing the lid and inserting the
cassette into the mechanism (refer to gure below left).
inStalling note caSSetteS
Using the reverse of the steps used to remove the note cassette from the mecha-
nism, slide the note cassette into its slot in the mechanism. Keep the cassette
level as you load it, and make sure the cassette is fully inserted. Once all cas-
settes have been lled and reinserted, lock them into position by pressing the
cancel key from the Prism
TM
NDC Supervisor add caSh screen.
4. Move the white plastic levers (Pawls) on the pusher plate to their
fully extended position. This will allow the pusher plate to retract
and release pressure from the note stack when an unlock command
is sent to the dispenser (refer to gure below right).
5. Close the cassette lid. Fold the lid
down to its locked position. The
release button should “popout, al-
lowing the lid to mate cleanly with
the body of the cassette. You may
need to “tap” the lid rmly along
the front edge to achieve this.
Turn the key counterclockwise to
lock the cassette (refer to gure at
right).
* IMPORTANT *
Before locking cassettes, it is recommended to check the Reject
Cassette for any rejected notes. The procedures for the reject
cassette are described next.
