STATE SETTINGS
ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS:
1. From the M
AIN MENU screen, select the TERMINAL CONFIGURATION option
by pressing number <6> on the keypad.
2. From the TERMINAL CONFIGURATION screen, select the STATE SETTINGS
option by pressing number <3> on the keypad.

ESCRIPTION:
The STATE SETTINGS option allows the terminal operator to perform the follow-
ing functions:
1. U
SE OVERLAY SCREEN FOR AMOUNT ENTRY. This function allows you to
enable/disable whether the overlay screen is displayed for amount entry.
2. U
SE ENTER KEY TO TERMINATE A MOUNT ENTRY. This function allows you
to enable/disable the <Enter> key for terminating amount entry.
3. M
AP ENTER KEY FOR AMOUNT ENTRY. If Use Enter Key to Terminate
Amount Entry function is enabled, this setting specifies what function
key can also be used to terminate amount entry (must match the key
specified in the F state).
4. U
SE ENTER KEY TO TERMINATE INPUT INFO. This function allows you to
enable/disable the <Enter> key for terminating input information.
5. M
AP ENTER KEY FOR INPUT INFORMATION. If Use Enter Key to Terminate
Input Info function is enabled, this setting specifies what function key
can also be used to terminate input information (must match the key
specified in the H state).
