MORE DIAGNOSTICS

ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Select DIAGNOSTICS from the MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS
screen.
2. Select the MORE DIAGNOSTICS option.
DESCRIPTION:
For 9700-series, 9705-series and 9710-series Cash Dispensers,
the MORE DIAGNOSTICS menu offers the following options:
1. RESET/TEST MODEM, which performs a functional test of the
modem hardware.
2. MODEM SPEAKER, which lets you turn the modem speaker
sound on or off. Press the keypad button next to the label to
toggle the state of the modem speaker between ON and OFF.
3. SCAN CARD, which enables you to test a customer’s ATM or
credit card for proper operation in the terminal card reader.
For 9750-series Cash Dispensers, the the SELECT CLOSE FUNC-
TION menu provides the following options:
1. INJECT NEW CASSETTE ID, which enables you to change
the identification code of a cassette.
2. RESET/TEST MODEM, which performs a functional test of the
modem hardware.
3. MODEM SPEAKER, which lets you turn the modem speaker
sound on or off. Press the keypad button next to the label to
toggle the state of the modem speaker between ON and OFF.
4. FORCE UNLOCK CASSETTES, which allows you to overide
the normal cassette unlocking mechanism.
5. SCAN CARD, which enables you to test a customer’s ATM or
credit card for proper operation in the terminal card reader.
